This exotic South American hardwood, more commonly known as Lapacho, Tajibo or Ipe, is more than 185% harder than Red Oak, making it one of the most durable in the world. Patagonian Walnut displays a chocolate-color. It also has a naturally resistance to fungi and wood-boring insects, and is sought-after for both high-end residential and commercial installations. Our solid Patagonian Walnut T&G flooring is micro-beveled, pre-finished with a clear gloss aluminum oxide-based finish and harvested in an environmentally responsible manner.
